Bold Screen Media, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information in connection with our advertising technology services (“Ad Server”) and related business operations.

This policy applies to data that we collect from our advertising, analytics, and reporting technologies, as well as data we receive from advertisers, publishers, and other partners located primarily in the United States.
 

1. Information We Collect

Our Ad Server and related systems may collect, receive, or process the following categories of information:
 

  • Cookies and similar identifiers: Unique IDs associated with browsers or devices that allow us to deliver and measure ads.

  • Mobile advertising IDs: Such as Apple’s IDFA and Google’s GAID.

  • IP addresses and device information: Including operating system, browser type, device type, screen resolution, and network information.

  • User agent strings used for system compatibility and fraud detection.

  • Approximate location data: Derived from IP address or other non-precise signals.

  • Demographic or interest data: Including inferred audience segments or categories for advertising relevance.

  • First-party data from advertisers and publishers: Such as campaign, placement, and contextual information.

  • Cross-device and identity graph data: Used to understand how devices or browsers may relate to the same user for frequency capping, measurement, or reporting.
     

We do not collect directly identifiable personal information (such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers) from users browsing publisher sites.
 

2. How We Use the Information

We use the information we collect for purposes including:
 

  • Delivering and displaying ads;

  • Measuring ad performance and campaign effectiveness;

  • Preventing fraud, invalid traffic, and ensuring system security;

  • Analyzing and improving our products and services;

  • Fulfilling our legal obligations;

  • Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting our Ad Server systems.
     

We process information only as a service provider on behalf of our clients and partners, in accordance with their written instructions and applicable law.
 

3. How We Share Information

We may disclose or share data as follows:
 

  • With our service providers and vendors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, fraud prevention, measurement).

  • With our business clients (advertisers and publishers) in aggregated or pseudonymized form to report on campaign performance.

  • For legal and safety reasons, such as complying with law enforcement requests or protecting against fraud, abuse, or security threats.

  • In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we may transfer data as part of that transaction.
     

We do not sell or share personal information in the sense defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar U.S. privacy laws.
 

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our Ad Server uses cookies and other local storage technologies to enable ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, and analytics.

You can manage cookies by adjusting your browser settings or using industry opt-out tools such as the NAI Consumer Opt-Out or DAA Opt-Out.
 

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information.
If you are a U.S. resident in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, or another state with similar privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • Know the categories of personal information we process;

  • Access and obtain a copy of personal information we hold about you;

  • Request deletion of personal information we maintain (subject to legal exceptions);

  • Correct inaccurate personal information;

  • Opt-out of data processing that constitutes a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable law (we do not engage in these activities, but we honor valid requests);

  • Limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal data).

If you make a request, we may verify your identity before responding. Authorized agents may submit requests on behalf of consumers when permitted by applicable law.
 

6. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with our contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
 

Typically, ad-related data (such as logs and cookies) are retained for no more than 12 months, unless required for fraud detection, reporting, or legal compliance.
 

7. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the data we process against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. While no system can guarantee perfect security, we continually improve our security measures in line with industry standards.
 

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Ad Server is not directed to children under 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it.
 

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. If material changes occur, we may notify partners or post a prominent notice where appropriate.
