THE BOLD COLLECTIVE STORY
Bold Collective was launched in June 2015, by two long term ad tech veterans. They saw a gap in the Mobile Video and Connected TV reseller space, and had a passion to fix the broken landscape. The goal was to build an omni-channel ad exchange, focused around its core values of Get Shit Done, trust & transparency, and building lifelong relationships with our clients and each other. Today, Bold Collective remains self funded, with no outside funding, nor debt on the business. The core exchange supports Connected TV, Mobile Video, and Audio environments.
Our exchange supports 35+ omni-channel buyers working across 175+ omni-channel sellers, maintaining a robust and direct traffic flow with minimal Invalid Traffic (IVT) issues. Amidst industry challenges like Supply Path Optimization (SPO), we prioritize clean and efficient pathways for our direct transactions, ensuring compliance with sellers.json and ads.txt protocols.
While onboarding new buyers involves setting up additional lines, we streamline the process to deliver quality inventory promptly. Even with one extra hop in our inventory chain, we cater to buyers seeking such opportunities, emphasizing transparency and integrity over quick but questionable gains. Our exclusive focus on CTV allows us to excel in providing trustworthy services, including data enrichment and our secondary efforts across audio inventory.
The key challenge lies in addressing the prevalence of unethical practices within the programmatic CTV landscape, driven by a lack of education and integrity among some market players. We advocate for a shift towards cleaner and more transparent supply paths, emphasizing the importance of combating IVT and ensuring genuine value for buyers.
